The Wagga Wagga Solar Farm site is located six kilometers from the town centre.
Located in a mixed rural and industrial setting, the Wagga Wagga Solar Farm is ideally situated considering the sites ability to generate renewable energy whilst providing the ability to graze livestock.
The project is due to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Generates up to 80 construction jobs as well as ongoing direct and indirect employment opportunities.
Provides enough power for approximately 11,600 average homes.
Displaces more than 56,025 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually
Uses low impact solar photovoltaic technology.
Doesn’t require water for electricity generation.
